    Apprenticeship Certified Pickleball Teacher Program

    After a successful trial in 2026 we are aiming to continue the program, limited spaces available.

  • New pickleball Ambassador.

    On Sunday 7 December we completed another combined pickleball Ambassador workshop and Teacher certification course two brand new pickleball Amassadors Peter from Pickleball Collective and Kartika from Tiba Tiba Pickleball successfully completed their workshop.

    Join us today, to congratulate 10 brand-new certified pickleball teachers from seven different communities, including three new teachers who successfully piloted and completed the apprenticeship training program. The course took place in December at VATA Courts in Kemang, Jakarta.

    Join us to congratulate Robertino & Olivia who complete the pickleball Ambassador worshop and Taryono Ismail, Irwanshah & Loly who completed the Certified Pickleball Teacher Program. The course took place in August at VATA Courts in Kemang, Jakarta.

    Join us to congratulate Angie, Adam and Levi who completed the Certified Pickleball Teacher Program. The course took place in June at VATA Courts in Kemang, Jakarta.

    Easter sunday was a special day for 3 newly certified pickleball Teachers, Dr. Bobby (Jakarta), Gilang (Karawan) and Toni (Cibinong) are ready to serve their pickleball community helping new and established players with their pickleball game.

  • New Pickleball community in Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta, Graha 12CPB

    In late December we started to introduce pickleball with the local community and as a result we already have 16 core players, with new players popping around to have a go at one of the 3 sessions we run at the moment. There is lots of laughter and joking around and we see good rallies developing as well.

  • Pickleball wildfire in the Philippines

    Mariano Marcos State University, Ilocos Norte

    In early August 2024, Mike Johnson and PickleballJeff traveled to the northern tip of Luzon to assist Lito Custodio with introducing pickleball at Mariano Marcos State University in Ilocos Norte. After a successful launch, Lito was able to generate excitement among the students, who promptly established a pickleball club.

    According to Mike Johnson, the President of the Philippine Pickleball Federation, pickleball is rapidly gaining popularity in the Philippines. New pickleball groups and clubs (143 to date and counting) are springing up across the country, with the sport even being played in shopping malls. Expatriates traveling to the Philippines or other parts of Asia can now pack their paddles and join in the pickleball craze. Earlier this year, the Philippine Olympic Committee officially adopted pickleball, making the Philippines the first nation to receive national Olympic recognition for the sport.

  • New pickleball TEACHERS and INSTRUCTOR in Bali.

    On Saturday 28 January, 2023 Pak Alit assisted by local pickleball community members succesfully completed the requirements of the IEPP/APA pickleball INSTRUCTOR IL3 course. Pak Alit is living with his wife and 4 children in Klungkung, Bali he is very well respected in the pickleball community and he is always prepared to give a supportive hand.

    6 New APA pickleball Teachers completed successfully their training on Sunday 24 September 2023 joined by the president of the German pickleball federation Andrea Kopkau who completed his cross over to IEPP

  • A new APA pickleball AMBASSADOR

    PickleballJeff and David Goertzen

    On February 21, 2023, David Goertzen, an experienced sports coach and educator with a deep passion for pickleball, was named an APA Pickleball Ambassador. Splitting his time between his native Canada during the summer and Hua Hin, Thailand in the winter, David dedicates half his year to the sport he loves.
