    Here you will find information about IEPP, now refered to as IEPP/APA to create clarity. As I am now based in Indonesia, I will therefore be focused on the Asia Pickleball Academy but the IEPP programs are still open for all players from other continents.

    Shaping the grassroots of the pickleball world!

    Pickleball is a ageless, grassroots sport, rooted in a universal foundation of skills, strategy, and rules that unite players of all levels. At IEPP/APA, we understand that most players are recreational—playing for fun but also eager to improve. That’s why our focus is on teaching the fundamentals and not only skills in a way that’s both engaging, enjoyable and elevating players pickleball game. By giving new players a solid grounding in the basics, we aim to cultivate talented athletes within pickleball communities in Asia. Over time, these players will be ready to train and compete on the international stage.

    As pickleball continues to surge in popularity around the world, the sport faces a key challenge—there is a lack of consistent introduction sessions for new players and structured personal development training for beginners progressing toward the intermediate level.

    This inconsistency in how pickleball is introduced and developed across Asia risks slowing the sport’s long-term growth and impact.

    We’d like to introduce you to the IEPP/APA concept, designed to meet this challenge by:

    • Focusing on recreational pickleball across Asia.
    • Providing consistent, fundamentals-based instruction, with an emphasis on the 12 core pickleball skills to support personal development toward the intermediate level.
    • Ensuring affordability and accessibility through practical, cost-effective workshops and certification courses.

      We welcome established pickleball teachers and coaches eager to support the sport’s global growth. Our easy yet comprehensive crossover program ensures smooth alignment with IEPP/APA standards for consistent player introduction and development training.

      If you love helping others and making an impact, we’ll guide your journey to becoming an IEPP/APA ambassador or educator—sharing your passion while growing the game in your community.
    • National Pickleball Organizations (NPOs)
      NPOs can partner with IEPP/APA to grow their communities without building training programs from scratch. Gain access to proven resources and expert support for a low annual fee.

    IEPP/APA Training Cycle Process (TCP)

    The TCP empowers pickleball educators to deliver personalized, step-by-step instruction that remains flexible—whether in group sessions or one-on-one training. Each modular training session is clearly visualized in a single diagram, making the process simple yet comprehensive.

    This progressive curriculum guides students from mastering the fundamentals to developing advanced skills, strategies, and tactics—creating a structured, engaging, and enjoyable learning experience for both students and educators.
